CMDS - GUARDIANS
The identity and look of the CMDS athletic program had been diluted and exhausted after decades of shifting priorities. Several years into our relationship with CMDS, we were asked to imagine it from the ground up.
It’s not a logo. It’s a shield. Stand behind it. Fight for what’s on it.
Though governed separately, the CMDS campus shares ground and facilities with the church it grew out of 60+ years ago. And it’s the church that guides the athletic program CMDS students participate in.
Working closely with the church and the school, we crafted AN icon that honors them both and tells the bigger story. The CMDS cross-inspired compass star + Christ Church’s recent rebrand + the essential shield that leads them both forward… these are The Guardians.MERCH & APPAREL
From banners to spirit gear to uniforms, we refreshed all of their production items. Showcasing the compass star and shield, we made 'em the coolest kids on the block.
