It’s not a small world.

HILTON ORLANDO

26 acre campus. 1400+ keys. 250,000 sq ft of meeting space. That’s a lot of bellies to fill and whistles to wet. We were invited by RIDA Development and Hilton to create, name and brand design four distinct F&B outlets within a massive hospitality campus next to the Orlando Convention Center.

FASTBREAK

FastBreak is the Hilton Orlando’s back porch.

The 3-meal-a-day workhorse pivots from breakfast, to pool deck bar & grill, to sports bar with an activated lawn. Every day!

TRABUCCO

Ownership asked for a flagship, 'white table cloth’ dinner spot with a coastal Italian concept.

We came back with Trabucco, named for a peculiar and particular Italian fishing pier famous along the Adriatic coast, where nets strung between wooden beams are dipped into the sea to retrieve their bounty.

TODO VOS

BIENVENIDOS, ALL Y’ALL
Todos, n. - everybody
Vos, n. pl. - you

An upscale, tequila-driven bar and Mexican restaurant serves as the hotel’s last touchpoint before the meeting spaces and long walk to the convention center. It’s also the first touchpoint on the way back home after a long day of meetings. Hola, margarita.

BARTELA

Let’s all go to the Lobby. Bar Tela is the gathering place, the roundabout, the lobby bar where auspicious beginnings and endings sidle up to each other all hours of the day.

We were intrigued by ownership’s founding patriarch - a Polish immigrant who made his name in the hosiery and textile business 100 years ago. So we chose Tela, a Spanish word that represents raw woven fabric & cloth, a blank canvas that’s also a colloquial shorthand for dough, cash, and hard work.
